The Customer Service Supervisor holds responsibility for coordinating, supervising, and assisting the daily activities of the customer service department. The Customer Service Supervisor provides various direct services to distribution center customers and associates; handles inventory transactions for appropriate accounts; completes general invoices; and provides high-level analytical services to management.

  •  Directs the operations of customer service personnel and complete performance reviews on-time.
  •  Presents appropriate verbal and written warnings in a clear, concise manner.
  • Conducts problem-solving analysis on customer service processes.
  •  Performs profitability and efficiency analysis for management.
  •  Develops staff skills to prepare them for next-level assignments. 
  •  Understands and implements contacted rates insuring accuracy with warehouse, vendor, and WMS.
  •  Oversees projects associated with assigned account(s), including but not limited to, new development, internal and external communication, support, and information maintenance issues.
  •  Evaluates assigned accounts’ business processes and provides recommendations for automation and enhancements to generate additional revenue. Collaborates with business development. 
  •  Assists with identifying revenue opportunities within assigned accounts and their customers through communications, programs, and other activities as needed, collaborating with marketing, the quality management program, business development, and support
  •  Manages ongoing conference calls and ensures a positive relations with assigned account(s)
  •  Provides regular status reports and manages task lists on assigned account (s) progress for all project areas.
  •  Manages projects using defined project management tools and communication vehicles.
  •  Facilitates enhancements to communications, tools, capabilities and product lines.
  • Participate in cross-functional groups to establish marketing campaigns, product directions, and productive solutions.
  •  Analyzes and implements improvements to current internal systems and processes. Analyzes and recommends improvements to external processes and systems.

Education and Experience Required

  •  3  years of customer service supervisor experience (Required).
  • Warehouse Management System (AS400) experience (Preferred).
  •  Computer, data entry, software (Microsoft Office Applications), and internet experience (Required).
  • High School graduate or equivalent (Required) 
  • Bachelor’s degree  (Preferred)
