Sr. Analyst, Business Analytics

Summary/Objective

The Sr. Analyst, Business Analytics will use data analytics and technology to provide insight and information to the operators and decision-makers within ODW. This role will provide cross-functional support to all business units and will leverage business intelligence tools to develop reporting and provide training on the functionality.

• Aids in identifying areas of the business that can be optimized
• Leads design of software-based solutions that improve processes
• Leads implementation of software-based tools and automation
• Designs technical queries
• Creates and updates business intelligence reporting and visuals
• Offers continued support for any solutions implemented
• Assists with reporting, insights, and data requests for all areas of business
• Documents processes for future use with a focus on standardization
• Troubleshoots data modeling issues and develops solutions
• Provides support for new business and building out of initial tools
• Collaborates with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management, while bringing awareness to techniques and tools available to use.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience such as prior programming experience
• 3 – 5 years of experience writing SQL queries

Skills and Background

• Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Experience creating SSIS packages and stored procedures
• Warehouse Management System experience
• Operational knowledge in a 3PL or Distribution environment
