ODW Logistics, a leading third party logistics provider headquartered in Columbus, OH has named Lee Kirk its Chief Operating Officer. Lee succeeds Ted Nikolai who was appointed Chief Financial Officer in April 2017.
A commercial operations and supply chain executive with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Kirk comes to ODW Logistics from GEODIS where he was Vice President of Operations and led a $30 million operation. Prior to GEODIS, Mr. Kirk was Executive Director of Reverse Logistics at XPO Logistics where he drove cultural and efficiency improvement through lean/six sigma implementations.
“Lee has successfully led global supply chain operations and is passionate about connecting functional teams to deliver value to our customers. His collaborative nature and hands-on approach will play a central role leading ODW Logistics’ goal to double our business by the year 2020,” said John Ness, President and CEO of ODW Logistics.
Lee added, “My goals are to safely deliver leading supply chain technology solutions providing added value and
visibility to our customers while maintaining the flexibility and hands-on leadership approach ODW Logistics has built over the years.”
Lee graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a degree in General Business and will be relocating to Columbus, OH with his wife and children.
