John Guggenbiller, the retiring president of ODW LTS, was honored with an induction into the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame. Guggenbiller has spent nearly 50 years in the logistics industry and will remain in an advisory role until the end of the year as ODW Logistics merges with ODW LTS. In his induction speech, Guggenbiller, who is the inaugural inductee, announced a $25,000 donation to an associates fund to support employees facing hardships.
The Business Hall of Fame was established by the chamber of commerce with the help of individuals Guggenbiller mentored at ODW Logistics. Hamilton Chamber President and CEO Dan Bates emphasized the chamber's historical role in supporting the community and praised Guggenbiller as a contemporary leader and role model for future honorees.
ODW Logistics CEO John Ness highlighted Guggenbiller's entrepreneurial spirit, noting that they grew the LTS division from zero to $150 million in revenues over 15 years. Brian Woods, a vice president at ODW Logistics, commended Guggenbiller for his leadership and mentorship, stating that he always prioritized raising the status of others.
